Account Manager in Longmont, CO
We are a family-owned insurance agency seeking a new team member to join our agency! Our top priority every day is to deliver world class customer service, and we're looking for an individual who has customer service experience as well as advanced computer skills, communication skills, and has a high level of attention to detail.
This individual will be servicing our auto and home insurance clients through phone, text, and email, and will be trained to eventually service agricultural and commercial insurance as well. This position is done 100% on the computer and phones, so being comfortable and quick to learn computer systems is absolutely necessary.
Preference will be given to individuals who have previous insurance experience. However, those who have customer service experience in positions like real estate, brokerages, etc. will also be highly considered.
The schedule is flexible, though should remain consistent.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop relationships with assigned accounts
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns
- Understand client goals and objectives to provide strategic guidance and solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and account success
- Monitor account performance and identify opportunities for growth
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate account status and progress
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Proven track record in account management or sales
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
